Tony Hawk's Best Friend "Totally Cool" That He's Dating His Wife

Yesterday I posted about Tony Hawk leaving his wife for his best friend/business partner's wife and it seemed like a bit of a twisted story, too twisted to be true. Or so I thought because it seems that Tony's bff/business partner Matt Goodman has decided to open up about the situation by saying:

“I know people will think it is strange but I’m totally cool with it,” Goodman told Radar Online about Tony dating his wife. “I had split up with Cathy over a year ago and she started dating Tony about seven months ago."

I find this a little strange but to each their own. Matt also mentions that he now has a girlfriend and he doesn't have a grudge against the two either, he just wants to move on with his life.

I know his friend is alright with the situation but what about Tony's ex-wife Lhoste?

Did Tony Hawk Leave His Wife For His Best Friends Wife?

Professional skateboarder Tony Hawk filed for divorce from his third wife , Lhotse Merriam on February 11, 2011 but now there are reports that he may have left her for his best friends wife.

According to the New York Post’s Page Six Lhotse found about the relationship in December 2010 after finding a plane ticket for his best friend/business partner Matt Goodman's wife, Cathy. Apparently, Tony had booked her a ticket so she could join him in San Francisco.

Tony Hawk and Lhotse Merriam were married in 2006, 2 years after his divorce from his second wife Erin, who was his former nanny. Tony and Matt have reportedly been good friends since childhood.  

Matt has been married to Cathy for nearly 20 years and have two children together, they are now separated.

I wonder if this story is true and if it is, how the heck could you do that to one of your best friends? Hasn't this dude heard of 'bros before ho's'?
