That's right, George Clooney and his girlfriend of 2-years Elisabetta Canalis have called it quits.
Sad stuff but not surprising...to anyone. George is a ladies man so the fact that he stuck it out with one little philly for 2-years is pretty amazing.
The couple issued a statement together about their split:
"We are not together anymore. It's very difficult and very personal, and we hope everyone can respect our privacy,"
Elisabetta's publicist added:
"It is a very personal and sad matter, and Elisabetta wants it to remain that way. She will be taking some time ... and then will face the press. She has not authorized me to say when the split happened."
I'm sure she's very sad considering that one of the men that's often referred to as 'the best looking man' just dumped her...come on, you know it was totally him.
