'Sex and the City' Prequel Set To Be TV Series On CW

Yeah, this is not a good idea.

I loved the HBO hit show Sex and the City, I even loved the first movie but making a series of the prequel book The Carrie Diaries isn't the way to go. They're taking this great thing & making it something so generic. Also, could they not have held out for a better network than CW?

The new prequel series The Carrie Diaries, based on the young adult novel by Candace Bushnall about Carrie's high school senior year in a small New England Town is reportedly being lead by Gossip Girl producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage.

As much as I would have loved to see this prequel become a movie, I'm sort of glad it didn't happen. I mean, we all saw what happened with SATC 2 *face palm* but I'm not seeing this show being a hit either.

Guess we'll just have to wait & see if the teeny boppers digg it.

'RHOC' Gretchen Rossi Has Bench Warrant Issued For Her Arrest

I guess prancing around in your teeny bikini all over Las Vegas doesn't stop your court battles from proceeding.

Real Housewives of O.C. reality star Gretchen Rossi has been locked in a nasty legal battle with ex-boyfriend Jay Photoglou and when she failed to appear in court on Thursday, a judge issued the warrant for her arrest and set bail at $2,500, according to RadarOnline.

The judge cut Gretchen a bit of a break by continuing the warrant until September 15, meaning she has until that date to show up in court and she won't be arrested.

What was the blonde housewife doing on Thursday in stead of being in court? Gretchen was in Las Vegas for a promotional event at Sugar Factory American Brasserie at the Paris Hotel & Casino of course.

She and Photoglou are suing one another for libel, defamation and slander.

According to Gretchen's rep this all a big misunderstanding and it's just another way for Photoglou to stick it to her:

"After Photoglou's previous attorney's dropped him last month, Jay and his new attorney set a conference date intentionally on a day they knew Gretchen would be out of town on an appearance. Gretchen's attorneys appeared on her behalf and the judge rescheduled the conference. A bench warrant is a standard part of the paper work. It is not an active warrant and only becomes active if one of the parties fails to appear on the new date. "

Drama-rific.
