Last night BET aired a show about the lack of black models in the industry. Black women spend an estimated 20 billion dollars a year in fashion adn still we are not represented on the runways and in ads for designers. BET aired a special last night that discussed all of this in detail with guests such as Bethann Hardison , Iman , Tyson Beckford, and Naomi Campbell to name a few. European Vogue decided they would do something about this . I think as black women we need to speak out against this I know myself as an avid consumer lol , I contribute to a good bit of that 20 billion.

I also want to commend designers such as Kimora Lee Simmons and Sean Combs for utilizing the black model and showing that we come in all colors and variations .

On another note, Jessica Alba recently was in our Beverly Hills store. She purchased a few cardigans by Vince, Autumn Cashmere, and Rebecca Taylor, as well as 3 pairs of earrings. Cheetah Girl, Adrienne Bailon shopped at Lisa Kline last week also. She adores and bought lots of Kritik, also a favorite of ours! Adrienne is currently dating Kim Kardashian’s brother, Rob Kardashian.

Beyonce looked great so did Joy Bryant. I loved the black and the chanel necklaces and shoes . Dont know about the gloves but other than that the outfit was beautiful. You guys know I love me some B and Jay. Great party pics.
